​Before using the device for the first time, the operating instructions must be read carefully. Improper use may damage the equipment. For proper use of the appliance it is necessary that all persons operating the boiler are familiar with the operating instructions. The operating instructions must be stored safely. The control unit is an electrical appliance which may only be installed by a person with a valid electrical installation licence. Whenever any repair or installation is altered, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply. The control unit and boiler must be earthed after installation. It is advisable to electrically measure the insulation resistance after installation. The appliance must not be operated by children. The unit can be damaged due to electrical discharge therefore it is advisable to disconnect the unit from the mains supply during a storm. The unit cannot be used for any other purpose than that for which it was manufactured according to the instructions for use. Before the heating season and during the operation of the control unit and boiler, it is necessary to check the electrical wires for melting by touching hot parts, to check that the screws and clips of the wires are properly tightened and to check the correct fixing of the control unit. Excessive moisture dust contamination may permanently damage the control unit.
